Friday, telecom company Vi (Vodafone Idea) announced that it will work with gaming platform CareGame to give its users in India a 5G cloud gaming experience. With 5G’s low latency technology, the company said, cloud gaming should become even more open to everyone.
The online gaming industry in India is one of the ones that is growing the fastest, and it is expected to grow a lot more when 5G comes out. The Chief Marketing Officer of Vodafone Idea, Avneesh Khosla, said in a statement that mobile gaming is a big part of their plan to keep their customers interested.
