Domestic abuse is a problem that people all over the world have to deal with. It is a crime that hurts not only women but also men, children, and even babies. People usually only pay attention when something horrible happens, like a murder. In Columbus, Mississippi, recently, a woman is said to have killed her husband while streaming their fight on Facebook.

Reports say that at 7:40 a.m. on Saturday, deputies from the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office went to a call about domestic violence. The thing happened at the home of Kadejah Michelle Brown and her husband, Jeremy Brown. When detectives got to the scene, they found the body of a 28-year-old man who had been killed by a single gunshot.

Why Was Kadejah Brown Arrested?

Along with other pieces of evidence, deputies also found a 9mm pistol at the scene of the crime. When Kadejah Brown went to the sheriff’s office, she was charged with killing her husband, Jeremy Brown. She is now being held in the Lowndes County jail.

Why Did Kadejah Brown Kill Her Husband?

As of now, she is being held at the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center with no release set. Kadejah Brown may have live-streamed the fight on Facebook. This is a scary warning of how powerful and important social media can be. It is also a stark warning of how quickly domestic violence can get worse and kill someone.

What Happened Between Kadejah Brown & Her Husband?

This is not the first time something like this has happened. In fact, there have been a number of times when people have used social media to record and share dangerous acts they have done against others. For example, in 2015, a man in Florida all_gedly shot and killed his wife and then shared a confession and photos of her body on Facebook.

In 2017, a man in Thailand kill_d his baby daughter on camera, shared the video to Facebook, and then killed himself. These crimes show the disturbing trend of people posting about their crimes on social media to get publicity. In the United States, domestic abuse is a big problem.

The National Coalition Against Domestic Vi0lence says that one in three women and one in four men have been physically hurt by someone they live with. Also, in the United States, an average of almost 20 people are abused physically by a person they live with every minute. It’s important to remember that domestic violence doesn’t pick and choose who it affects. It can happen to anyone, no matter what race they are, what gender they are, or how much money they have. Domestic violence also has effects that spread far.
