Satish was born in Mahendragarh, Haryana, on April 13, 1956. In 1972, he got his diploma from Kirori Mal College in Delhi. He went to the Indian National Institute of Drama and the School of Film and Television and graduated from both of them.
As an actor, he is best known for playing “The Calendar” in “Mr. India.” He also played Pappu Pager in “Deewana Mastana” and “Chanu Ahmed” in “Brick Lane” by Sarah Gavron (2007).
