Satish was born in Mahendragarh, Haryana, on April 13, 1956. In 1972, he got his diploma from Kirori Mal College in Delhi. He went to the Indian National Institute of Drama and the School of Film and Television and graduated from both of them.

As an actor, he is best known for playing “The Calendar” in “Mr. India.” He also played Pappu Pager in “Deewana Mastana” and “Chanu Ahmed” in “Brick Lane” by Sarah Gavron (2007). He won the Filmfare Award for Best Comedy Actor twice, once for the movie Ram Lakhan in 1990 and again for the movie Saajan Chale Sasural in 1997.

As a stage actor, he is best known for playing “Which” in “Salesman Ramlal,” a Hindi drama based on Arthur Miller’s “Death of a Salesman.” Willy Loman’s.

He wrote the lines for Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, which is one of Kundan Shah’s best comedies (1983).

In the new SAB TV show The Great Indian Family Drama, he plays the lead role of Nawaab Jung Bahadur. The show is made by Contiloe Productions. Now, he wants to make a follow-up to his successful movie Tere Naam (2003). He played Tayaji in the movie Udta Punjab, which just came out (2016).
