Soon, OnePlus will put the OnePlus Ace 2V smartphone on sale in China. The launch is planned for March 7 at 2:30 p.m. CST. The company has already started dropping hints about what the device will be like. Now, the company has made it official that the Dimensity 9000 chipset will power this device.
OnePlus Ace 2V
For those who don’t know, MediaTek released the Dimensity 9000 chipset in 2021 to compete with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It had top-of-the-line performance and worked very well. The performance of the Ace 2V smartphone was recently seen on the AnTuTu benchmark. We compared it to the OnePlus Ace 2, which has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and found that it was 9% less powerful overall. The CPU performance is almost the same, but the GPU performance of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is 12% better.
The company has also said that the device will have a new heat dissipation system made of “ultra-high-performance graphite” that covers an area of 4129mm2.

We already know what the device looks like because of recent teasers. The OnePlus Ace 2V, which is coming out soon, is expected to have a trendy boxy design with high-quality aluminum edges, like those on flagship models. Also, it will bring back the well-known alert slider, which has been missing from the brand’s recent mid-range phones
Rumor has it that the OnePlus Ace 2V will have a 6.74-inch AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be run by the Dimensity 9000 chipset and have up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage and 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM. The phone will also come with a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged quickly with 80W.
The device is said to have a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and a triple camera setup on the back, with a 64-megapixel main lens with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The OnePlus Ace 2V should work right out of the box with Android 13 OS and ColorOS 13. Some reports say it will be renamed the Nord 3 for the international market.
