Nathaniel Dixon, a Selma resident who was accused of killing a Selma police officer, has been called to court. Police reports from Selma said that Nathaniel was accused of killing a police officer. On the other hand, he had been involved in many other cases before. In the same case, it was also said that the suspect had been in jail many times before he was charged in the death of the Selma officer.
This week, Nathaniel is supposed to be in court, and many of his older cases are now moving forward. Stay tuned to find out more about Nathaniel and the charges against him. On Tuesday, Nathaniel was accused of killing a Selma police officer named Gonzalo Carrasco by shooting him. The police say that Nathaniel was at the scene when Gonzalo Carrasco was shot, and that he was the one who fired the gun.
When the shooting happened, Nathaniel’s situation was not clear. Now that the investigations are over, the police say that Nathaniel was involved in more than one case and was also jailed for those crimes. Even though we don’t know much about their family history or Nathaniel’s loved ones, we do know that he is not new to the world of crime. Nathaniel is a 23-year-old man who has been in trouble with the law before. On the other hand, Nathaniel shot a 24-year-old Selma police officer named Gonzalo Carrasco Jr.
Nathaniel is not new to the criminal world, and he has been in jail and out on bail before. It has been said that Nathaniel’s lawyer might qualify him for special circumstances, which means that the lawyer will probably send the suspect to jail for life or even give the death penalty while the case is being tried. Now, if we talk about the crimes Nathaniel did in the past or the charges against him, Nathaniel was arrested for the first time in 2019 for a second-degree felony robbery. He stayed in jail until July 2020.
Later, he was put on probation, and after a month, he was arrested again for having a gun that was loaded and for having other guns. According to a report, he was arrested again in August 2020 after being charged with five felonies and one misdemeanor. This time, he was arrested for having a gun, fighting with a police officer, and having meth. He was later given a probationary sentence.
Officers said in a report that Nathaniel was moved to another prison late in his time in jail because it was too full. He was released later in 2022. In November 2022, he broke the rules and went to jail for two weeks. The last time he was arrested was this Tuesday, after he shot and killed Gonzalez. Now, he might be locked up for the rest of his life. Now, everyone thinks that he will be in court early on Friday, February 2, 2023, which is the second Friday of this week.
