Moto X40 appears to be approaching. The device was recently discovered on certification platforms such as 3C and TENAA. Several reports claim that the which will be rebranded as the Motorola Edge 40 Pro in global markets in the coming months, will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. The screengrab of Chen Jin’s Weibo post shows him hinting that the X40 has a “new flagship platform” and LPDDR5X RAM.

The new flagship platform he’s referring to appears to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform, which is set to launch next month (November).
Specification of MOTO X40
Its predecessor, the Moto Edge X30, became the world’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 phone in December 2021. With 3C and TENAA certifications already under its belt, the appears to be one of the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phones to launch this year.

The Moto X40’s specifications have yet to appear on TENAA. It only displays images of the phone, whereas its 3C certification indicates that it may be able to charge at 68W.
According to reports, the Moto X40 will have an OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, and 8 GB / 12 GB LPDDR5x RAM options. It will have a 60-megapixel front-facing camera and three 50-megapixel rear cameras. For more updtaes newsyorbit.com
