James Vail murder: Woman shares her domestic violence – obituary | A local of St. Joseph recounts her experience with domestic violence in a new Netflix video.
The I’m A Killer spinoff I’m A Stalker will be broadcast on Friday, October 28. Transistor Films, a British production firm, generated both projects. Angelyn Thompson is one of the participants in the series who will discuss an incident with her allegedly abusive and haunting ex-husband. Daniel Thompson is being imprisoned at the Jefferson City Correctional Center at this time.
Angelyn Thompson was first surprised last year when Transistor Films contacted her over Facebook. “They are located outside the United Kingdom, which makes it even weirder that they have a connection with Missourians… They examined court documents and my abuser’s past, which is why they chose this story, she explains.
Angelyn Thompson stated that production will commence in December 2021. She stated, “It was just a shock…it was unexpected, but it was well worth it.” Angelyn Thompson narrates her experience alongside Bonnie james Vail, who is also related to Daniel Thompson, in the documentary.
In 2010, James Vail’s son James was murdered in St. Clair County, Missouri, by Daniel Thompson. She stated that navigating the circumstance is not simple. “When a person is experiencing loss, time stops still and the world truly marches on,” stated Weil.
james Vail has a Facebook page titled “Parents and Victims of Murdered Children” as well as a website with assistance for families who have lost a child to murder. She stated that the pages were intended to serve folks in need during challenging times.
james Vail stated that he would meet with the individual at 2:00 a.m. if it was necessary. I simply want them to know that they are not alone and that there are people who can relate.
Weil stated that receiving information and assistance from others allowed her to overcome her sadness and remember her son.
Ware remarked, “He’s a giver who will do what I do and help others.” He is my vocation. Vail also stated that Angelyn Thompson is a member of her family.
Weil stated, “Our objective is to transform crime victims and prosecute murder victims.” We are attempting to make changes by just listening to our own voices. In connection with the killing of Vail’s son, Daniel Thompson was convicted of second-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison. In 2034, he will be eligible for parole.

Angelyn Thompson stated that she believes the documentary would move audiences. “I hope it can change the lives of at least one person, if only one. That is my wish,” she stated.
