Irina Gladkaya found wrestling when she was 15 years old and in high school. Her gym teacher found her and helped her become Russian champion. The next month, she won her first world title. She was called “Black Diamond” by people.
She won the first A1 Open World Arm Wrestling Grand Prix of Russia2 in 2012. In July 2021, a video of her fighting 15 men in a row went viral on YouTube3 with over 3 million views.
Irina began arm wrestling when she was 15 years old. During a game at school, her gym teacher saw how good she was. Irina’s teacher was impressed by how strong and athletic she was, so she set up for her to start training with a coach.
Irina’s skills and techniques improved very quickly as she trained, and she won the World Championships in Slovakia just 4 months after that. From there, her career took off, and now she is known around the world as one of the most powerful middleweight women.
Irina has won the world championship title 13 times, and she has no plans to stop. Irina wants to stay at the top and keep getting the rewards of her hard work.
