During a “Autocomplete Interview” for Wired’s YouTube channel, the You star admitted it when talking about her friendship with Maddie Ziegler.

The complete interview was made public by Wired on November 17, and on Wednesday, Pop Crave tweeted the autopsy remark. The tweet has now received over 40,000 likes and more than 1,000 comments from horrified fans pleading for Ortega to retract the statement.

Despite all the criticism, some supporters of Ortega supported him, saying it is not strange to perform autopsies on already-dead animals.
