Gotham Knights won’t have a console performance mode and will be limited to 30 FPS when it comes out later this month. Follow for more updates on our website or Google news
Fleur Marty, who is in charge of making Gotham Knights, confirmed the news on Discord. Here, Marty says that this is “because of the kinds of things that are in the game.” It won’t be “as easy as lowering the resolution and getting a higher FPS” to add the performance mode option.
Marty said that the upcoming game “cannot switch between performance and quality” because of its “highly detailed” open-world setting and free-form co-op gameplay. Lastly, she confirmed that Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 will both be able to play Gotham Knights at 30 FPS (the developers have previously confirmed that they have planned PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game.
But that’s 60 FPS for those who play on PC. In the tweet below, you can see the minimum specs for your PC.
At the same time, because some copies of “Gotham Knights” came out early, several game screens were uploaded to the Internet ahead of time. Most of the video footage has been taken down, but it’s worth mentioning in case you want to avoid spoilers until the game comes out later this week.

This month, Chris Tapsall from Eurogamer got to try out Gotham Knights for himself. At this point, he said that the four heroes of the game were “good.”
“That’s a low score, and I don’t like being too hard on Gotham Knights when the game is still a few weeks away from coming out,” he said. “But for now, it’s impressive, but not because of how well it works technically. It looks good enough and runs smoothly when we play it through the streaming platform Parsec, but it doesn’t have Yes.” A sense of being sure.
