Cody Longo, a young actor who became well-known through movies and TV shows like “Days of Us,” has died. TMZ has found out.
A family member told TMZ that Cody’s body was found in his bed in an apartment building in Austin, Texas, on Wednesday. We’ve heard that Longo’s wife, Stephanie, who works at a local dance studio, was upset when she couldn’t reach him… so she asked the police to check on him.
When Longo didn’t answer the door when the police called, they kicked it open… and saw that he was dead in bed.
Cody has been drinking too much for years, and a family member told CNN that he went to rehab this summer. The official time of death hasn’t been announced yet, but his family thinks he relapsed and that alcoholism probably killed him.

In 2011, Longo was in eight episodes of Days of Our Lives. He was also in Bring It On: Fight to the Finish and an episode of Nashville in 2016. But most people remember him as Eddie Duran from the TV show Hollywood and Highland. He was on the show for 78 episodes.
Stephanie, Cody’s wife, told us that he fought very hard for his kids. “He was the best husband and the best father. She said, “Everything was shaking.
His wife, a 7-year-old daughter, a 5-year-old son, and a 1-year-old son are all still alive.
