A Hooters waitress was accused of helping kill a 23-year-old man with a baseball bat. She asked the judge to lower her bond so she could pay for it with money from her OnlyFans account. Ashley Esselborn, who is 21 years old, asked a judge in Texas to lower her $100,000 bail to $50,000.
She said that she had enough money in her account to pay the lower amount. People who want to see her X-rated content pay her $12 per month to be a subscriber.
According to Daily Mail, Esselborn said in court that she had at least $8,000 in the account just from her naked photos, but that all of her money was locked and she was trying to get in touch with OnlyFans to get it back.
The waitress is said to have cheered as Payton Collier, William Bell, and Ronnie Lang beat Zachary Wood with their hands, feet, and a bat at Wood’s house in Wichita Falls. All of them were charged with murder in the first degree. Wood was killed in May 2022, and it is said that Esselborn was there. People say that the group attacked Wood because they thought he stole their drugs and money while they were staying at his house.
Collier told the police that while Wood was being hit, Esselborn yelled at him and forced him to say where the stolen goods were. The judge turned down her most recent request to lower her bond, which had already been cut in the spring from $1 million to $100,000. We still don’t know if Esselborn took part in the attack or encouraged it.

The Wichita Falls Police Department says that Wood lived on Brown St with Collier and two other roommates at his death. An affidavit says that on May 21, around noon, when officers were called to check on Wood, they found his body in a “ransacked” home with “evidence of a massive bloodletting event having happened in multiple rooms.”
Esselborn told the police that she saw the attack and helped throw away bloody items afterward. Collier said she watched from the sidelines, which backs up Esselborn’s story. On the other hand, investigators were told by a witness that she had heard Esselborn bragging on the phone about how she had helped attack Wood and gotten away without being caught.
Lang admitted to killing the man in September and will spend the next 50 years in prison. Lang is in jail with a bond of $1 million, while Bell is free with a bond of $200,000. All of the remaining defendants have been given plea deals.
