Apple Silicon’s M2 processor powers the iPad Pro, which was just announced. The company says that the 8-core CPU is 15 percent faster and the 10-core GPU is up to 35 percent faster at rendering graphics. The company also says that the chipset can do 40 percent more operations per second than the M1 SoC.
It also has a new media engine and an image signal processor, making it the first iPad to support the ProRes video capture feature. The company also says that the tablet will be able to transcode ProRes footage up to three times faster than before. It also has five studio-quality mics that let you record clear audio.

In terms of the camera, the front has a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor that can work with Center Stage. The phone has a 12-megapixel wide camera sensor and a 10-megapixel ultra-wide camera sensor on the back.
Apple has also added support for Wi-Fi 6E, making it the first product from the company to support Wi-Fi 6E. The company says it can reach a download speed of up to 2.4Gbps, which is twice as fast as the model from the last generation. There is also support for 5G cellular connectivity, which will work everywhere in the world, but mmWave support is only available in the U.S.
When it comes to battery life, the company says that both models of the tablet can be used for 10 hours of web browsing and video watching over Wi-Fi. However, when using cellular connectivity, the tablet can only be used for nine hours. In terms of software, it will have everything that the iPadOS 16 has.

The 11-inch Wi-Fi-only Apple iPad Pro, which was just announced, starts at $799, while the 12.9-inch Wi-Fi-only iPad Pro starts at $1,299. The tablet comes in two colors, silver and space gray, and has five storage options: 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB. Both models are now available for pre-order, and you can buy them on October 26.
