It was said that Alabama wide receiver Jermaine Burton hit a female Tennessee fan after the Volunteers beat Alabama 52–49 on Saturday. TMZ Sports says that Emily Isaac posted a video of Burton hitting her in the head on social media.
Before TMZ Sports wrote this story, Knoxville, Tennessee, police had nothing to say about it. In an interview with reporters, Alabama head coach Nick Saban confirmed what happened and said the school is “working to find out more.”

Chase McGrath scored the game-winning goal right on time, and Tennessee fans rushed onto the field at Neyland Stadium almost right away.
Tide has beaten the Vols for 15 years in a row, and this shows how far apart the two teams are. Not only did Tennessee end the streak, but the win also gave Josh Huppert’s undefeated team more hope for the college football playoffs.
Still, the leaders of the conference didn’t like how fast Tennessee got to the field. As a result, the SEC fined Tennessee $100,000.
Players on the other team usually don’t have much time to get off the field before the on-field charge starts, and it’s almost impossible to have a safe, clear path to the tunnel.
This doesn’t mean that fans or players can be violent, but when fans are there, things like this are likely to be on the mind of the caregiver.
