The Valdosta City Schools are on lockdown while we follow this story at #GA Valdosta High School. Georgia’s Valdosta High School and other Valdosta City Schools are on lockdown due to reports of an active shooter, according to ABC27.
After hearing on Wednesday that the high school had an active shooter, Valdosta High School and other Valdosta City schools were put on lockdown.
According to the school system, there are several first responders en route to the scene to investigate. The VCS is currently in lockdown at all of its schools. More details will be made public at 10:30 a.m., when only first responders will be permitted on campus, according to the district.
Grades 9 through 12 are served at Valdosta High School in the Valdosta City School District.
